There are wonderful truths in nature. The earth, the sea, and the sky are full of truth. They are our teachers. Nature utters her voice in lessons of heavenly wisdom and eternal truth. But fallen man will not understand. Sin has obscured his vision, and he cannot of himself interpret nature without placing it above God. Correct lessons cannot impress the minds of those who reject the word of God. The teaching of nature is by them so perverted that it turns the mind away from the Creator.  {E.G. White, COL 107.4}

D10 Discovery of Nature’s Majesty

Behold the majesty of God as He looks from heaven bebolding all the sons of men and upon all the inhabitants of the earth. (Ps 33:13,14). God will sorrowfully give up (separate from) men who through lust of their own hearts changed the truth of God into a lie and worshipped and serve the creature more than the Creator. (Rom 1:24,25)

3 The Invitation

Discovery Tour D10 is based on the documentary  (11/4 hour) displaying the wonders of God in nature where scientists prove Almighty God's existence through science that harmonized with Scriptures and long spoken of in Scriptures. These scientists who have been impressed by the works God are explaining, using the knowledge of science, the intricacy of some of nature’s phenomenal occurrences. The scientists in this documentary are some of the highest regarded in the scientific community. This trip will be enlightening as we learn (even with our family) about nature and in the process mature in our appreciation of the love of God in His revelation to us spoken by nature in such beauty, power and majesty.

The presence of God, mentioned in D9, par 2.2.1.1, when He spoke to Job, biblical character, about the works of His hand is given almost full manifestation by the scientists in this documentary. Verses from the Book of Job, the oldest book in the Bible by Moses, are mentioned to attest to the truth of God’s word.

Discovery D10 Overview

1. We have a discovery treat in seeing and hearing the wonders of God in nature where scientists prove Almighty God's existence through science that harmonized with Scriptures and long spoken of in Scriptures. God spoke to Job, biblical character, about the works of His hand is given almost full manifestation by the scientists in this documentary.

2. God’s power is displayed from the new growth of plants in the Spring to new life forming in the womb. The Bible explains there is one God who is the Creator and the source of all life and energy. Some of the natural occurrences explained are: Lightning and thunderstorms; The stars in the expanding universe, singling out the Sun  for special mention; and the vast amount of nuclear energy that are available in even in the atom of all matters.

3. The Lord’s wisdom is evident only when we study the necessity of water. It is indispensable to life and is perfectly designed for the life of every cell and creature. The snow crystals formed from water molecules are the trillions of God’s transparent treasures falling daily to earth for our discovery and joy and yet no two are exactly alike. This shows the care He has lavished on everything.  God has built into, not only ice crystal, all kinds of other molecule all kinds of systems, relationships and processes we don’t even begin to fathom yet today.

4. The discovery of DNA that makes up our genes holds all the information involved in the life of a living body is another higher level of God’s laws at work. Yet even the DNA molecule is simple compared to cell. The human body consists of trillions of cell working together as one unit we should be in humble awe of our Creator’s intimate care and perfect wisdom.

5. Similarly every seed is a miniature miracle. Seeds of various kind provide us with huge trees, fruits, flowers and resources for man and his environment. No scientist has been able to build a synthetic seed and no seed is simple. The plant growing from a seed has leaves which converts with the sunlight the  carbon dioxide from living creatures and the water in the ground into oxygen and hydrogen which is used in making sugars for the plant. The rich diversity of the flowering plants and the many purposes they serve all point to a wise and compassionate Creator.

6. The living creatures that God spoke into existence on Day Five and Day Six, Creation Week, are fishes, sea creatures, birds, animals, insects and lastly God made man in his image.  The octopus, the squid, the fish with its streamline body living in its specified depth, the symbiosis of the Clownfish in the poisonous anemones, the birds ability to fly and migrate over long distances, the agility and colour of the hummingbird, the metamorphosis of the caterpillar to the beautiful  butterfly, testify to God’s goodness and wisdom. Each of these living kinds has their own unique design features that man is still learning to imitate and each has a special role in the regulation of the circle of life according to God’s blueprint.

7. Man stands out with the largest brain built with conscience to know good and evil and the ability to reason, to learn and given the freewill to exercise according to his conscience. Man has been engineered with brilliant physical traits, in the eyes, ears, nose and mouth, that gives us the five human senses. We also have feeling and emotion and the capacity for joy, laughter and admire things of beauty. To cap it off, we are endowed with a spiritual nature which has not been activated if you have not heard the call of God yet.  Man alone is a free moral agent responsible to God and to society, being made in the image of God and initially given dominion over all the living things (Gen 1:28) which Adam surrendered to Satan at the Fall and we now need Jesus Christ o restore us back to our original divine nature.

8. Conscience is our God given knowledge of right and wrong. Therefore man knows the Creator is both the moral law giver and the judge. Deep in our heart we all know that if God were to judge based on the holy standard we would all be guilty. However man was given a free will and a choice. Sadly he chose to rebel against his Creator starting with Adam. The Creator came to earth as a man lived a sinless life and died to pay the penalty for our sins. He then rose from the dead and offers forgiveness and eternal life to all who will trust him for the remedy.

9. Many of us do not know why there is so much suffering amidst the wealth that some luxuriate in and cry foul against an unfair God.  Like Job, they are not aware of what is happening behind the scene. We will only know from the Bible of the great controversy started by Satan who rebelled against Jesus Christ. Satan is now the prince of this world and is given this time to allow his wickedness to be fully exposed so that the God of love will be vindicated to angels, beings in other unfallen planets and most of all human beings.  At the cross, the death of Jesus unmasked Satan’s lies and actions to the angels and the unfallen being. Christ is now anxiously waiting for as many of us to accept Him, the way, the truth and the life so that He can finally come to redeem us.

3.1 God of Wonders

Watch “God of Wonders” at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vvVt4lDSPeY (1:24:57) narrated by Dr. John Witcome in exploring creation, conscience and glory of God (uploaded on Aug 23, 2011).

Follow along with the transcript below as you watch the video. The transcript (with added commentaries and clarification in parenthesis) provides a ready recourse when we need it to remind us.

Enjoy the wonders of God as we watch in rapturous admiration the first 3:15 minutes of the video clip “God of Wonders.”

This documentary is divided up into four sub- parts:  Power, Wisdom, Justice and Love message of creation, conscience and the glory of God.  This division allows viewers to arrange watching it in smaller segments over an extended period. It is good educational entertainment for the whole family.

“For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:” -Rom 1:20

“In the beginning God created the heavens and he earth the sea and all that is in them”- Gen 1:1

Since the dawn of creation God’s attributes are seen and known by all. As a building requires a builder creation demands a creator. As an outstanding design points to a gifted designer, our amazing universe reveals the glory of an awesome Creator. God’s wonders surrounds us and these marvels reveal much about our Creator. Through creation we glimpse His power, wisdom, Majesty and loving care.  Creation is speaking to those who would listen.

3.1.1 Pt 1: God of Power (4:40)

Throughout creation God’s power is displayed from the new growth of plants in the Spring to new life forming in the womb. Wherever we turn the Creator’s energising power is unmistakable. He guides the stars in the courses above. He formed the majestic mountains. He maintains the beneficial seasons. In His hand is the life of every living thing.

Scientific explanation: Jason Lisle, Ph.D., Astrophysicist- The Universe has a beginning and therefore requires a  cause, a creator. The energy in the universe has a beginning and therefore requires a cause. People may then say who made God not understanding that God is eternal and does not have a beginning and therefore does not require a cause. This belief about an eternal being is more rational than about something popping into existence from nothing that violates causality.

“Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God” (Ps 90:2)

Dr Gary Parker, Biologist, author of Creation: Facts of Life –“ A famous evolutionist was once asked where did the Big Bang come from.  He said, if somebody ask you where did the mass energy came from just ask them where God came from. His answer is much more meaningful than he thought.   Something had to be eternal, either the mass energy is eternal or God is eternal. Science had taught us a lot about mass energy. One of the things is that it wears out and cannot be everlasting. God is eternal makes sense as spoken in Scripture “They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment”- Heb 1:11.”

Roger Oakland, author of “The Evidence for Creation”- “The Bible explains there is one God who is the Creator and the source of all life and energy. The forces of nature energized and guided by His hand. Who hasn’t felt the rumble of an approaching storm and considered God’s might.”

3.1.1.1 Thunderstorm

“His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled. “-(Ps 97:4)

See 7:18- 9:07- Thunderstorms are the amazing display of the Creator’s might. An average thunderstorm pours down several hundred million gallons of water equivalent to the amount of water that flows over Niagara Falls every six minutes. The same storm releases 10 kilowatt hours of energy equivalent to a 20 kiloton nuclear warhead. A large severe thunderstorm can be 10 or even 100 times more energetic.  At any given moment hundreds of storms are occurring somewhere around the world. This amounts to about 16 million thunderstorms each year. The accompanying lightning illuminates the entire skyline. A bolt may reach over five miles in length  containing over 100 million electrical  volts and temperature approaching 50,0000 F in a split second, hotter than the surface of the Sun. On average lightning strikes the earth 100 times every second. Several million bolts return each day. The tremendous power, the incredible speed and the glaring flash are the clear manifestation of our Creator’s majestic power.

Larry Vardiman, Ph.D., Atmospheric Scientist- “Thunderstorms are an incredible phenomenon in the atmosphere. They are awesome, they are powerful, frightening. They have all kinds of energy releases. That is basically what is happening.  Thunderstorms are releasing large quantities of energy in our atmosphere by vertical motions. They are a major part of the hydrologic water cycle.  Waters evaporated from the oceans are the vapours that drifted over the continents and then it fall as rain and flows back into the seas.”

Lightning and Thunderstorms in Scriptures are often used as a symbol of God’s wrath against rebellious people. (These events have been mostly misinterpreted to be the act of God. But in knowing that the nature of God is love He will not execute judgment until the very last act of evil has been fulfilled. Otherwise we will not be alive for all the sins we have committed.  The story of Job gives us an insight that Satan is the culprit causing all the calamities. God simple separates from us if we choose to rebel against him, and leave us in the hand of Satan.)   But everybody has been struck by the awesome beauty of lightning and storm and the smell of the fresh air.  The lightning itself puts two gases in the air, nitrogen and oxygen to make fertilizer.  When the lightning stroke goes through the air it releases the nitrogen in the vapour form and absorbs into the water and it falls down and fertilizes the ground. So our crops are fertilized by the nitrogen produced by the thunderstorms

About 3,700 years again Job pondered upon the almighty display with these words: “He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them.”- Job 26:8 “He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud.”- Job 26:12 “Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? But the thunder of his power who can understand?”- Job 26:14. (So thunderstorms and natural events that are highly energetic are lessons for us. if God can do this what must he be like? While we may not fully grasp this cumulative power these grand displays should cause all to stand in awe of our Great God.  (The relationship of Job with God, enabled him to know God as the powerful Creator and how powerless and  how little we actually know of what is happening in the environment we live in.)

3.1.1.2 The Stars (11:22- 13:33)

“Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth.”- Isa 40:26

Our Sun is immense and its energy output enormous. The core of the sun is a scorching 27 million degrees Fahrenheit. Though the Sun is 93 million miles from earth, sunlight is our main source of energy. Energy leaves the Sun at a ferocious rate of 5 million tons of matter per second. This goes on day and night, year after year.

Don DeYoung, Ph.D., Physicist, author of Pioneer Explorers of Intelligent Design  - “There are many examples of God’s power in nature. The whole universe came about by his word. “For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.”- Ps 33:9. One good example is to consider our nearest star, the Sun. It gives off more energy in one second than mankind has produced since Adam and Eve. The sun actually provides its energy by nuclear fusion converting hydrogen into helium on a grand scale and this is true for all the stars in our own Milky Way galaxy. We estimate a 100 million stars and beyond that in deep space we see a 100 billion more galaxies. One cannot begin to grasp the energy and power we are talking about, all created by God’s word.” The sun heats the earth and it drives all the weather systems on the earth, tornadoes, hurricanes, thunderstorms, just plain rain clouds, and winds.  The energy on the earth is only one billionth of the amount of energy coming from the Sun.

To gain perspective with the aid of computer animation lets now travel with the earth to the Sun at 100 times the speed of light. (13:32) Over 1 million earths would fit inside the Sun (an average size star). Many stars in our galaxy dwarf it. Arcturus is the fourth brightest star in the night sky though 200 trillion miles away. This orange giant is visible to the naked eye. By moving our Sun to Arcturus we can grasp its immensity. It is 100 times brighter with a radius 20 times greater than the Sun. The supergiant is Betelgeuse with a radius 600 times of the Sun. It is a red star that shines 60,000 times brighter than the Sun. However it is not our largest in the galaxy several red super-giants in the Milky Ways are even larger, some with a radius 1500 times of our Sun. (15:15)

Jason Lisle, PH.D., Astrophysicist- “One of the things which really exhibit God is the power released in Stars. The Sun released more energy in one second than a billion major cities would produce in a year. Consider the energy of all the stars in the universe is described in the single phrase “He made the stars also” Gen 1:16.”

When we consider these ratios present only a sliver of our Creator‘s power. Certainly we can agree with the Psalmist exhorts: “Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.”- Psa 33:8. Of course the stars reveal more than raw power. Without the light of the Sun all life on earth would soon perish. The Sun’s life giving energy provides a constant reminder of our Creator’s steadfast love, the God who shines His gift of life on all. (16:24)

“He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names. Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.”- Psa 147:4 -5.

The visible universe contains more than 100 billion galaxies. Each of these galaxies has a diameter millions of trillions of miles wide and each contains hundreds of billions of stars though incomprehensible, it is now estimated that the universe holds over a billion trillion stars.

Long before the introduction of the telescope, Scripture declares that man would be unable to determine the exact number because there are so many. Of course the Creator knows the exact number (Ps 147 declares He called each star by name). The power to create each of these stars, the wisdom to maintain their stellar courses and the incredible beauty displayed throughout the universe combined to affirm the Creator majesty and care. (17:35)

Dave Hunt, author of “Cosmos, Creator and Human Destiny“- “God has made the universe so fast, All man can do is just marvel at this universe, the vastness of it.  David exclaimed: “When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; “What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?”- Ps 8:3-4

The Bible also tells us that “the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”- Isa 55:9. The size of the universe is 28 billion years or more travelling at 186,000 mps (equivalent to 7 times round the earth). Today most astronomers acknowledge that the universe appears to be expanding. This also agrees with the Bible which says God “stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain”- Isa 40:22, and there are ten other places that talk about stretching out the heavens and that is something that was only discovered in the 20th Century. These were revealed to them from above in ancient time.

Unimaginably large containing spectacular galaxies and stunning nebulae, “Truly the heaven’s declare the glory of God” (Ps 19:1) (19:25)

3.1.1.3 Nuclear Energy

It is not just the visible forces of nature or our immense universe that reveals God’s might. There is tremendous energy in all matter, even the tiny atom. “Consider the wondrous works of God”-Job 37:14. (Here, Job was reminded by Elihu why he dared demand (like our atheistic scientists and wise men) that God must give him an account over his suffering in arguing with his three elderly friends. Has he considered all of God’s wondrous works that we are now learning about? Then Elihu asked Job,  in verses 15-24, whether he can light up the clouds, to control the wind and the season, and ending with  ‘As for the Almighty, we cannot find Him; He is excellent in power, in judgment and abundant justice; He does not oppress. Therefore men fear Him; He shows no partiality to any who are wise of heart’ ” (Job 37:23, 24, NKJV).  Immediately in Chapters 38-41, God spoke out of the whirlwind  to Job asking him rhetorical question to make come to his senses and grow up  which Job did.) (Read a more detailed discussion at www.wakeupow.com/159912045 -WP4.6 Preparation for Time of Trouble, par 4.6.3.4 The Book of Job, posted 1st January 2017)

In the last century scientists have uncovered the vast energy present in all matter. E= mc2 states that the potential energy of any matter is Mass x (186,000 miles/second)2

Don L. DeYoung, Ph.D., Physicist, author of Pioneer Explorers of Intelligent Design – “In the formula E= mc2, made famous by Albert Einstein, it expresses the possibility to take matter or mass and convert it entirely into energy.  Annihilate the matter and off comes light and sound and power and energy. This is nuclear energy.

To appreciate the tremendous energy of any mass, consider that nuclear reactors convert only a tiny fraction of the total mass of their fuel to energy. If however we convert all the mass to energy the resultant output will be enormous. For example, the mass of an average size tree could be converted into energy, the power yield would be 45 trillion kwh or 10 years of electrical energy for the U.S (U.S. converts 4 trillion kwh of electrical energy per year)” Though scientists have much to learn about energy, mass and what holds matter together, they have discovered that the energy residing in all matter is incomprehensibly vast, Scripture explains that it is the Lord himself who is “upholding all things by the word of His power”-Heb 1:3. This includes every atom, every cell, every star and the entire universe.

It is now undeniable the almighty has created a universe with unlimited energy. He is the someone without beginning or end who has the power and the knowledge and the wisdom of the incredible, infinite intelligence to put all this together from the atom to the cosmos.

When we look at the many example of God’s power it should invoke a sense of reverence and on our hearts. The Bible tells us that “the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.”(Pro 9:10) The fear of the Lord is to hate evil for the fear of the Lord leads to life. Therefore the proper response to God’s authority is to worship Him and seek His mercy and forgiveness for our sins.

3.1.2 Pt 2: God of Wisdom (25:33- )

“Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:”- Jer 32:17.  Surely creation revealed God’s omnipotence. But there is much more though the universe id marred by the curse, the Creator’s wisdom, beauty and love are still evident.

3.1.2.1 Water

Wherever we turn the Lord’s wisdom is conspicuous. Study the property of water. This elegant molecule is indispensable to life. So our generous God covered four fifths of the earth’s surface with it in streams, lakes and seas. Water is perfectly designed for the life of every cell and creature. It‘s an excellent solvent, coolant and transporter.

Or examine the insect world Each of these amazing creature is endowed with ingenious abilities that far surpass anything man-made. From elegant to complex the creator works declare his wisdom.

3.1.2.2 Snow

“He gives snow like wool.” Ps 147:16. Thousands of years ago God asked Job ”Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,” Job 38:22. Nobody at that time have known fully about the treasures of the snow but the advent of the microscope these elaborate crystals can now be wholly appreciated. Snow crystals form in the clouds where water vapour condenses and crystallizes into ice.  As the crystals grow remarkable patterns emerge. The crystal patterns are very complex, symmetrical and beautiful. They are breathtaking to behold. In contrast man-made snow has none of the elaborate structure found in snow crystals… (Imagine Job has insights to the treasures of the snow and the hail which scientists can unravel for us with the help of microscopes.)

“Snow crystals are made out of amazing water molecules. Each molecule has a little negative charge and it holds onto two hydrogen atoms that have a little positive charge and it holds them a hundred and four and a half degrees apart. When you reach the freezing point suddenly they reach appoint where the electrical attraction of plus and minus charges can pull them together. That’s the energy source and then that shape god gave the water molecules they line up to form those beautiful crystals, each one unique, each one a reflection of God’s creativity.”

Everyday there are trillions of God’s transparent treasures fall to earth for our discovery and joy and yet no two are exactly alike. Larry Vardiman, Ph.D., Atmospheric Scientist explains “ I believe that God built the hexagonal shape into the individual water molecule because of the ways they have to fit together they form the hexagonal shape as they add on molecules and grow outward. Each individual ice crystal is made of literally millions  of water molecules and although they fit together in a particular way as they grow outward the ice crystals falling through the cloud of different temperatures they began to get different shapes. So every ice crystal is going to be slightly different than every other one.” Each crystal is built on an hexagonal pattern and exhibits  a marvelous  symmetry of design. Truly there is a treasury of snow just as God declared to Job when He spoke in the whirlwind. Larry continues “There are two things about ice crystals that just really excite me. One is when you look at them and you see all these patterns with these flat faces and there are over a hundred different basic types of ice crystals. It’s just the beauty of it that tells me something about God. God loves beauty and He loves me because He provided this beauty to look at and so resonates with me. The other is the way in which the ice crystals are ordered, the way individual molecules fit together that fits a particular consistent pattern time and time again tells me that God has designed  in it.” There is also a spiritual application as each crystal is distinctly patterned so each human, each  soul is unique and of special  concern  to  our Lord as  God’s creative hand forms  ice crystals with loving care  so too He intends to form each person to reflect his glory. Compared to the rest of creation snow crystals are simple yet the great architect’s attention even to the countless snow crystals He forms each day is an unmistakable mark of His care.  God has built into, not only ice crystal, all kinds of other molecule all kinds of systems, relationships and processes we don’t even begin to fathom yet today. That’s one of the reason I am a scientist. I love trying to find out how things function, how they operate and apply mathematical equations to them  because I feel like I am touching the face of God if you wish.”- Larry Vardiman. (30:55) (It is the spiritual significance  which Dr. Vardiman shared that enable us to discern the just one of many system that God has provided for us that at present we could not comprehend.)

3.1.2.3 DNA

“O LORD, how manifold are thy works! In wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.”-Ps 104:24

If simple water molecules that form ice crystals exhibit magnificent structure consider the design ingenuity behind large complex molecules such as DNA. DNA contains the blueprint for all life and is by far the densest information storage mechanism known in the universe.  For example, the amount of information contained in a pinhead volume of DNA would fill a stack of books 500 times higher than from here to the moon. The program code and design of such an incredible system indicates a supremely intelligent designer.  Ken Ham, President, Answers in Genesis says, “The evidence to me that just cries out that there is a God is the study of DNA. DNA is a very powerful massive information storage system. In fact DNA that makes up our genes actually is like books of information that is read by a language system. Scientists know today that a language is a code only come from intelligence and information comes from information nobody’s ever seen matter by itself give rise to a code. Nobody’s has ever seen matter by itself give rise to information and to look at DNA it actually cries out in the beginning God created the universe.”

Dave Hunt, author of Cosmos, Creator and Human Destiny – “We all begin as a single cell from which it builds a body of 100 trillion cells, with thousand of different kind, each one of them is so complex, nano chemical machinery beyond our comprehension on how it works encoded in the instruction manual how to build and operate every part of this incredible body. Furthermore DNA is a three dimensional molecule that is self-replicating. Each molecule is able to make an identical copy quickly and efficiently. It is able to detect and correct replication errors (with editorial type enzymes). These sophisticated capabilities far exceed man’s means.

Frank Sherwin, Zoologist, author of The Ocean Book-“ God has created the DNA molecule in such a way that it is self-correcting. There are special proteins, called enzymes that go up and down the DNA molecule looking for and making repairs on a minute-by-minute, second-by-second basis. God created us with a DNA code that actually has a “editee,” an editorial type enzymes just as an editor reads a newspaper or a book looking for mistakes. So God has created a special enzymes that go up and down our DNA molecule repairing the mistakes in ways that are unbelievably complex.”

In information science, one of the laws is that information never originates by itself, never spontaneously comes about.  DNA comes from intelligence. it’s not something that can possibly come about through millions of years of mutation and natural selection.

Yet even the DNA molecule is simple compared to cell. All life consists of cells and each cell functions as a miniature city. The human body consists of trillions of cell working together as one unit we should be in humble awe of our Creator’s intimate care and perfect wisdom.

3.1.2.4 Seeds ( 35:20 )

“(God supplies) seed to the sower both minister bread for your food,..” -2 Cor 9:10

Every seed is a miniature miracle.  God has programmed the tiny Sequoia) seed to become the largest tree on earth reaching nearly 300 feet tall.  The Apple seed yields a bounty of delicious fruit for years to come.  There are multitudes of seeds to produce spectacular blossoms in abundance. Each seed always produces after its kind. The fruits they bear have supplied the needed food and resources for man and his environment. The creator made life with the ability to reproduce after its kind, “And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.”- Gen 1:11 Plants produce seeds. Dr. Gary Parker, Biologist, author of Creation: Facts of Life- “Seeds are the master pieces of the micro miniaturization. Inside each seed is a little baby, a little embryonic plant with all its leaves and root that surrounded by a seed coat that protects it, and filled with all kinds of receptors listening in to environmental signals so it knows what temperature, moisture, oxygen that will allow it to sprout. The seed we find in fossils looks just like the seed we have today. The seed is the first reproductive structure that God made on creation day three and it’s the way living things ever since have multiplied after kind.” Today scientists have discovered what Scriptures stated all along. Inside the unassuming seed is life itself. Contained within our living cells are tiny factories of amazing complexity. No scientist has been able to build a synthetic seed and no seed is simple. Seeds are programmed to remain dormant until water and warmth are available.  Who installed this ability to monitor temperature and humidity? Who determined the proper time for the seed to germinate? Who told the root to go down and the stem to head upward? Do you see the guiding hand of our loving Creator? In order to sprout and thrive seeds require the proper soil nutrients, the ideal properties found in water, the correct frequency spectrum of light, the right atmosphere and the necessary pollinator. All these must have been in place from the beginning in order for seeds to yield a harvest of blessings for mankind

3.1.2.5 Plants –flowers, leaves, and insects (39:04)

“Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And why take ye thought for raiment?”-Mat 6:28

What a drab world it would be without flowering plants. From unassuming seeds to magnificent blossom flowers reflect a sliver of God’s splendor. There are a great variety of flowering plants flourishing all over the globe and each with its own unique flower, fruit and fragrance. As a blossom expands its fragrance fills the air. Each flower produces its own particular perfume. Even more amazing God uses the same elements, soil, light, and water to produce all these brilliant varieties. Remarkably certain flowers are designed to know what time it is. California poppies, Morning glories and Day lilies are three beautify examples, opening and closing with clock like precision. They are sensitive to atmospheric pressure, length of daylight, temperature and humidity and must have built in biorhythms.  Each leaf of a plant (40:30) is also a marvel long before man discovered how to harness solar power the Creator installed miniature solar panels in every green leaf. As the leaf expands it is programmed to face the sun to receive its energy. This energy powers its chemical factories as a result carbon dioxide is absorbed and oxygen is released  and hydrogen is used in making sugars. How ingenious of our God to design leaves to absorb man’s waste gas and release the oxygen which every creature needs for survival. Photosynthesis is also the basis or all our food supply. Thankfully countless numbers of God’s little green machines perform this service every day. Flowering plants are such a testimony to God’s provision. Not only are they critical in terms of providing food and medicine and other aspects of life as we know it but we would simply not be able to exist without the flowering plants.

That ties in with the large group of animals called the arthropods (41:30) One of the groups of arthropods would be the insects. Insects need the plants and plants most assuredly need the insects in terms of pollination in terms of keeping the plant pollinated on a year to year basis. “And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.” - Gen 1:29 “And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good.”-Gen 1:31  Plants use the process of photosynthesis to trap the energy from the Sun to put together carbon dioxide molecules from the air , water molecules from the soil to make sugar molecules, the basic building molecules for all of the other food groups. Plants absorb the carbon dioxides for living creatures, they absorb the water. They release oxygen from the water molecules so we breathe it in , burn the sugar to produce the carbon dioxide that they can absorb to make more sugar. They all fit and operate together at the same time.   God made plants, animals, people, all the physical features of the universe to fit together in an intricate pattern reflecting his glory; food, medicine, oxygen, fuel and raw materials.  Surely the Lord’s design plans are for our benefit. The rich diversity of the flowering plants and the many purposes they serve all point to a wise and compassionate Creator. Though magnificent in bloom the glory of the flower quickly fades. Scripture likens man’s life on earth to a flower, so quick to pass away. Therefore how important it is for us to seek everlasting life today.

3.1.2.6 Fishes, Birds, Insects and Land Creatures (43:40-)

“And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. “And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”- Gen 1:20-21

In the Book of Genesis God created everything to be very good and though sin has since injured creation. The fishes, the birds and all creatures still testify to God’s goodness and wisdom.

3.1.2.6.1 Sea Creatures

Living in the waters of the world are creatures more magnificent than mankind could ever imagine. The assortment of ocean dwellers speaks of the unlimited ingenuity of our great creator. Each sea creature has been designed with remarkable functionality. The Octopus equipped with a form of jet propulsion, suction cup technology and self-adjusting camouflage far superior to ant man-made design. The Octopus can morphs into a rock with algae. Its color shape and texture are all transformed in an instant. The male squid shows a brownish red courtship pattern towards female while simultaneously showing a white fighting pattern on its opposite side to ward off rival male. As he switches sides his markings actually flip. Dual simultaneous signaling demonstrates God’s engineering supremacy. Underwater symbiotic relationships reveal perfect foresight in design planning. Sea anemones are poisonous yet God has enabled certain fish to safely cohabitate in their environment. For example, Clownfish are designed with immunity to the anemones poison. This could not have been inherited as prior generation would have been killed and gone extinct before evolving a beneficial immunity. The schooling pattern of certain fish is still being researched. The ability for fish to dart with synchronized movements reveals the guiding man of a grand conductor. Different species of fish have been relegated to dwell at specific levels of the ocean depths. This capability is a result of a specially designed air bladder which secretes gases from the bloodstream regulating the pressure maintaining equilibrium allowing the fish to survive at various water pressures within a range determined by the creator. The pearly chamber Nautilus is essentially a squid, with a brain and an eye, digestive system with salivary gland and a pancreas They have three different hearts inside as we are. The chambers in the shell enable it to regulate its buoyancy like a submarine does. The fossil of this kind of creature are among the first to be found. Initial complexity is a marvelous testimony to God’s creativity.

3.1.2.6.2 Fish (47:50)

“The fish are an amazing creature starting with their streamlined efficiency. They are designed to extract oxygen from the water in such an efficient manner. They have such pleasing aesthetic values,  and are a  great quantity of food for man. According to the fossil record fish have always been fish. They are an incredible feature of God’s living creation”- Frank Sherwin The obvious variety and beauty of sea creatures shout out a master artist created all things for his good pleasure.

3.1.2.6.3 Birds (48:58)

Birds are among the remarkable creatures on earth. We marvel at their spectacular colours, their streamlined shapes, and their ability to fly with grace and ease. For centuries man attempted to imitate the flight of a bird. It was only in the 20th century that he succeeded in control flight to this day in order to improve the aerodynamics of the plane man will return to study God’s marvelous avian design. Consider some of the design features. A bird’s bones are lightweight and virtually hollow. They are supported by struts and honeycomb with air sacs. These are designed so efficiently for flight that the birds feathers usually weigh more than its entire skeleton. Even its beak is designed to save weight made of lightweight horn rather than heavy bone. Birds also have two strong sets of breast muscles; a large set to control the wings down strokes and a smaller set to control the up strokes.  Only birds have been created with features. It insulates it from the sun’s heat, protect it from the cold water proof the body and create wing and tail surfaces necessary for flight. Each feather is connected to a nerve and controlled by a muscle. This precision muscular control helps the bird balance in the air, steer and brake when slowing down to land. Each feather along the wing has a slightly different size and shape. It is coordinated with the others. They are marvelous example of masterpieces of miraculous example of creation.   Another essential element essential to bird flight is the air filled bags that lie between the bird’s organs. The bird’s air sacs are connected to its lungs and during flight air flows through them. This arrangement rapidly feeds the bird’s body tissues with life supporting oxygen while keeping it light in the air. They have a breathing system not found in ant other creature. The bird lung is a special double tied system where you can oxygenate air both inhaling and exhaling unlike our lung, the lungs of any other creature. The bird lung has back doors. It turns out that this is important. Birds do not change the shape of their chest cavity when they breathe. The air is moved to the bird like a bellow for a fire. These airbags between the muscle as the bird flies or walks is just moving the air.  All these engineering marvels combine for efficient flight and show perfect foresight.

They also have the ability to migrate long distances  The Arctic Tern make sit all the way from areas  near the North Pole all the way down to the South Pole and back every year. Now people can do that but it entails all the switches and dials, levers and controls  in the cockpit  plus ground control to tell the pilot where he is going. All these are packed into a part of the bird’s brain. (54:02)

The Lord has uniquely equipped each bird roe its role in life. In the service of man, each species of bird has a special area of patrol. Many helped by controlling insects, others remove the carcasses. The Finch family is a great seed destroyer. The Owl and the Hawk keep the rodents in check. The Sandpiper combs the beaches. The water bird maintains the proper balance in fish population. The Heron in frog and snake control. With graceful proportion amazing aerodynamic abilities and practical functions each bird is a testament to God’s wisdom and love. While God provides marvelously for birds, remember Jesus assures us that we are of more value than many sparrows. (55:09)

3.1.2.6.4 The Hummingbird

“All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee.”- Ps 145:10

The hummingbird is a marvel of agility and grace. The smallest bird they take their names from the humming sound made by their rapid wings beats. Darting from flower to flower the hummer poises in midair. He has come to sip sweet nectar. It has been wonderfully designed to do this. God gave it a small body to move with ease about the flowers with a long needle like bill to probe deeply into the flower cup and a specialized tongue for extracting nectar. It has sturdy strong wings with a sturdy breast bone which enable the bird to stop in midair and even fly backwards and sideways with ease .These features would have to work together from the beginning in order for it to be able to gather its energy food and thereby survive. Though the wings of most birds bend at the shoulder, elbow and wrist, the hummingbird chiefly uses the shoulder. Like a helicopter it can rise directly upward. The Creator’s design however makes it possible to swivel in all direction is much more efficient and far more agile than any man-made flying machine.

The hummers’ capabilities are phenomenal when hovering his wings beat 50 times a second, when speeding straightaway up to 80 times a second, Its heart beats 21 times in the same second. These birds have a metabolic rate that is just almost unimaginable. Their heart beats so fast it gets into the range of audible sound. They migrate over 100 miles. The reserve food to make this trip,  an error of hundreds of a gram,  and nutrients that means not making the trip alone would be absolute compelling evidence for a marvelous creator.

The hummingbird’s nest is a masterpiece of art.  The female is the artist. She uses fern foss, dandelion seed down and other plant felts. The exterior is adorned with lichens and fastened with spider webbing. The interior is lined with the softest down available. No one teaches her the art of nest building. It is a God given ability. The male coloring has no rival in the bird kingdom. The magnificent hummingbird, the broadtailed, the blue throated and Kostas hummingbird are among the more than 300 stunning species. The iridescent colors of the throat and crown are due to refraction and not pigments. Often these areas appear dark almost black but from the proper angle the iridescent colors seem to glow within. Every aspect of these remarkable birds testifies to the creator’s gracious provision. Would we say that the hummingbirds are especially favored by the all loving creator? No, this genuine love is extended upon every creature. If we carefully study any creature the Lord’s glory will always beam forth (1:00:00)

3.1.2.6.5 Butterfly (1:00:12)

“The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein”- Ps 111:2

An estimated 18,000 species of butterfly adorn our planet. The beautiful coloration of butterfly wings is created by millions of minute scales. These precision scales function as biophotonic crystals reflecting specific wavelengths of light to produce these brilliant colors. The extraordinary patterns and pleasing colors reveal a wise and caring designer. The Morpho butterflies have a beautiful blue type iridescence. But when biologist many decades ago began to look at the scales of the butterfly they didn’t find any pigmentation cells, they found instead biophotonic structures, structures designed by the creator to absorb certain wavelengths of white light  and reflect back to the viewer only that wavelength of light within the spectrum of a blueish purple color. We have found using electron microscope there are structures there that can have no more variation than 0.00004 mm. All butterflies undergo an amazing transformation during their life cycle. The insect begins as an egg, then a crawling caterpillar followed by the pupa stage. During this stage the caterpillar begins to convulse in rhythmic jerks breaking off its outer skin. Its legs and head are quickly shed giving rise to a chrysalis. Then within the first day the caterpillar organs disintegrate into a soupy liquid. Miraculously after one to two weeks a complex winged butterfly emerges. This metamorphosis takes place in a matter of days, not millions of years. The adult butterfly now has six segmented legs, antennae, a specialized feeding tube, two amazing compound eyes, complex reproductive organs and four ornate wings. The caterpillar had none of these features. Clearly the genetic instructions for all these stages were programmed into the insect by the Creator from the beginning. The caterpillar main function was to grow to 250 times in size. Then the butterfly was designed to fly, drink the nectar from the flowers, but at the same time fertilise the flowers. It was designed to mate , to be able to migrate from one country to another, several  thousands of miles in some cases. (1:04:06)

3.1.2.6.6 Land Creatures (1:04 26)

Thousands of years ago, Scriptures declare what was common knowledge to everyone.  For example, in the Book of Job, “But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee: “Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee. “Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this?”- Job 12:7-9. (Job, the man who worshipped God, was able to discern the testimony of nature about the goodness of God.)  If we examine the various things that have been created, it is very clear form Scriptures that the evidence points to the reality that there is a Creator who has made all things. Our Creator has provided us with countless examples of his infinite wisdom. The functionality and ingenuity of God’s creatures surpass our understanding that is cause for unending thanksgiving and worship.

3.1.2.6.6.1 Man (1:05:30)

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness…:” –Gen 1:26

While all creation reflects aspects of God’s character, man alone was created in God’s image. Man has physical distinctions. His brain is a piece of masterpiece of complexity. His hands are able to accomplish precise works. His postures are upright. Yet it is man’s spiritual nature that is especially unique. Scripture explains “God is spirit”-Jn 4:24. And even though mankind has fallen into sin man’s spiritual nature still retains a glimmer of the Creator’s character. For example, man has a free will. Man knows the difference between good and evil and only mankind has produced great scientists, composers, prophets and poets.

3.1.2.6.6.1.1 The Eye

Mankind (1:06:26) has been engineered with brilliant physical traits. For example, the human eye moves about 100,000 times each day with automatic and can handle 1.5 simultaneous messages. The eye is also self- cleaning with built-in wipers and cleaning fluid. The eye has the amazing ability to assemble and heal itself. Furthermore God has designed the human eye to distinguish millions of colours and his mind to appreciate the rich spectrum of beauty seen throughout creation. The eye is part of the brain. It’s an extension of blood in the embryo that buds off the brain and there’s a little window that develops in the skin called the cranium of the eye. The eyeball is located precisely where clear window develops in the skin so we may look through. It’s sensitive to light over a range of about 10 billion to one, that is from the brightest thing we can see, maybe a sun drenched snow scape down to as little as a single photon of light (the smallest unit of light). Everywhere you look the focus is automatic and the two eyes look at the same spot where ever we look. It’s like somebody with a pair of six guns that can fire the gun and everywhere they shoot the two bullets make one hole instantly. Everywhere we look the eyes converge in the same spot. (If the eyes are off focus by just a degree or so we would see double.) Everywhere I look I can see overwhelming evidence of the handiwork of God. Surely the man who denies that is without excuse just as Rom 1:20 tells us.

3.1.2.6.6.1.2 The Human Senses

Even more mind boggling the Lord has designed all man’s senses to be intimately integrated. When we see food our stomach may growl and mouth salivate. Upon hearing the voice of an old friend our hearts may leap for joy and one smell of grandma’s cooking can invoke memories from years past. However the wonder of our physical sophistication pales in comparison to our spiritual mature.

3.1.2.6.6.1.3 Spiritual nature (1:08:50)

Man is self-conscious and is able to contemplate himself. Man was created a rational being endowed with the faculty of reason and the ability to learn. Man was given the capacity to retain past experiences and his memory makes it possible for him to reflect on the goodness of God. Roger Oakland, author of The Evidence for Creation says: “According to the Genesis record man was made in the image of God that means he had attributes, abilities, capacities God had given him. When we read the Genesis for record which is after the Fall we still see these abilities and capacities. For example, man could build cities. He could make and play musical instruments. He understood metallurgy and agriculture, write poetry and literature. As well he was created with the spiritual component. Man had a free will to choose, had a conscience. So we see God created man unique from the rest of the creation.”

There are many differences between mankind and animals. One verse that comes to mind is Eccles 3:11. It says we are special. That God has put eternity in our hearts, that is we have a concept of history of the past and present and future. This is different from animals that live for today. We are a special creation.  Another wonderful gift of the Creator to man is emotion. It gives him colour and richness, feeling and the capacity for joy and laughter. Only man of all creatures on earth can appreciate an inspiring symphony or rejoice in the beauty of a sunset.  Man alone is a free moral agent responsible to God and to society. The only explanation to account for morality in man is the fact revealed in Scriptures, namely that man was created in the image of God and therefore made like God a moral being. (1:11:07)

3.1.3 Pt 3: God of Justice (1:11:10)

In addition of being almighty and all wise the Bible states that God is completely holy. He always does what is right. God cannot lie, he cannot sin and He is always faithful and true. How can we know that God is just? Scripture explains that the Lord has written His law on every heart. “the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness..” –Rom 2:15. The Creator’s holy nature is revealed to every man through conscience. Conscience is our God given knowledge of right and wrong. Therefore man knows the Creator is both the moral law giver and the judge. “..Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your God am holy.”- Lev 19:2  See section 1:12:10 – 1:15:23 interviewing people on conscience, telling lies, stealing, feeling of guilt  for stealing, using God’s name as a curse word, lusting in looking at a girl, Everyone knows  he is a sinner and are with excuse ( Rom 3:22,23) The fact that every man knows what is right and wrong tells us that God’s nature is just and that if God were to judge based on the holy standard  we would all be guilty. Do we have to face the almighty judge on the day of judgment? That being so we would be found guilty of whatever we have done. “The conscience tells me there is someone I am accountable. He is my Creator and I know I have not lived up to His standards. He is the only one who could put that conscience within us. It is God we are experiencing through our conscience.”

3.1.3.1 The Remedy for Eternal Death Sentence

Though creation shows forth God’s wonders it presents a mixed message for in the midst of such beauty and order we observe disease, decay and death. Not surprisingly it is the Bible alone which explains this apparent contradiction. In the beginning God created everything perfect. However man was given a free will and a choice. Sadly he chose to rebel against his Creator. As God warned Adam, sin resulted and suffering and death, the curse described in Genesis affected all creation and today we see the horrible result. However there is good news. Before time began, God had a plan to rescue mankind because the penalty for sin is death. The Creator came to earth as a man lived a sinless life and died to pay the penalty for our sins. He then rose from the dead and offers forgiveness and eternal life to all who will trust him.  (1:16:59)

3.1.4 Pt 4: God of Love (1:17:00)

We see in this documentary in the creation, we see the wisdom and power, the wonder of God.  God is concerned for his creatures but you can’t look at it without realizing that something is wrong. It is like we have a memory deep within our conscience of a time when there was a paradise and it’s lost.  “.. We see beauty, we see ugliness but it all seemed contradictory. That is only because it is a fallen world.” We know from the Bible of the great controversy* started by Satan who rebelled against Jesus Christ.   (*See WAR1n -The Invisible Spiritual War at http://www.wakeupow.com/152909616 )

3.1.4.1The Immense Prize of God’s Love

It is so easy to see the God of wonders just on a stroll through whatever neighbourhood we might live in. Birds fluttering overhead, the majestic beauty of flowers, or the glory of the sunset and yet many of you may be troubled about the birth defects, disease, disaster, fires, floods, famines, plagues. Where is God in all these things? Is that the God of wonders who did that? The Bible tells us clearly. No. The God of wonders is the one who created the wonders we see, the marvels of beauty and design. Unfortunately, man rebelled against God. But what God did was absolutely phenomenal even though we rebelled against him. We don’t deserve to even live, we don’t deserve existence. He stepped into history to become one of us. Jesus said, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”- Jn 3:16. Would you give your son knowing that he is going to be persecuted, scourged, beaten, mocked and crucified? God knew what would happen and even Jesus knew from eternity past what he would face.   Someone might wonder how a man who walked the dusty roads of Israel so long ago could possibly save us from death. How could he possibly raise us to a new life? But remember the Christ who died for us is the Creator of life. What an awesome God, the fact that he would step into history to pay the penalty for our sins and then offer a free gift of salvation to save us from what we did. In actuality we committed an act of high treason against the God of Creation and yet he loved us so much he stepped into history to provide the payment for our sins so that we can spend eternity with him.

3.1.4.2 Jesus Christ, Creator and Redeemer

According to the Scriptures this great Creator is the one who not only made everything but who redeemed us from our sins. Jesus Christ came to this earth and lives a perfect life in our place, died upon the cross, his blood was shed. Three days later he is resurrected. He lives today and whosoever believes in him and acknowledges who we are and what we have done and ask for forgiveness, repent from our sins can enter into a relationship with the Creator that will last for eternity. This is the good news. ( If Christ had not risen from the dead and is now at the right hand of God, the Father, then everything that Christians believe are in vain because they are  still terminal with sins and will die in selfishness without a hope of a transformed life by faith in Jesus –(1Cor 15:17-19).

Long before Jesus came to live and to die for us, Job, who lived some 1700 years before Jesus knew that his Redeemer lived. Job was given the hope in God’s promise of salvation. Bildad had judged that Job by the calamities and the terrible plague of boils he had suffered was proof that God was punishing him and that he must therefore repent of his sins. Job who was declared an upright and blameless man by God was sure that he had no unrepented sins in his defense said:   “For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: “And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: “Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.”- Job 19:25-27. With these famous verses, Job showed that he had some knowledge of the Redeemer, some knowledge that, though people died, there was hope beyond the grave, and this hope was found in the Redeemer, who was to come to the earth one day. These words of Job point to what is the most crucial and important truth in the Bible: God as our Redeemer. Yes, God is our Creator. But in a fallen world, in a world of sinners doomed to die eternally in their sins, we need more than a Creator. We need a Redeemer, as well. And that’s precisely who our God is: both our Creator and our Redeemer (see Isa. 48:13–17), and it’s from Him in both those roles that we have the great hope of eternal life.

Job looked forward to Jesus as the promised redeemer. We are now looking back at the Cross some two thousand years later.  From  this  vantage  point,  we  understand  the  substitutionary  death of our Redeemer, whose suffering encompasses the total sum of all sufferings  and  sorrows  that  this  world’s  generations  have  and  will  ever  live. This saving knowledge leads us, through our sufferings, into the life of the redeemed and to have the hope of the resurrected life at the second coming of Jesus.

In order words, Job learned of the prophecy of the coming redeemer passed down by word of mouth from his parents. The prophecy was fulfilled by Jesus Christ death and resurrection. We now have the assurance of the sure word of prophecy in looking back and have the faith in Christ in His promises to come again in the second coming to deliver us. )

Perhaps the most wondrous of all aspects of creation is a God who would not leave us alone. He sent his own son to restore things and we look forward to his coming again. But once again the wolf and the lamb will lie down together. They will not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain (Isa 65:25). The Earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea(Isa 11:9).  God’s redeeming love, that’s the greatest wonder of all.

Truly our Creator is the God of wonders and the greatest wonder is his immeasurable love. Scripture states that God is love (1Jn 4:8) and he demonstrated this love toward us by stepping down from heaven to offer his life so that we might be reconciled to him forever. Jesus Christ is the Creator. On the cross he bore our sins and then rose from the dead. The Lord now offers everlasting life to all who will turn from their sins and trust in him personally. By placing your faith in Jesus Christ you can enter into a relationship with the Creator of the universe that will last forever. This is his free gift and desire for you. To God alone who does such great wonders be glory, thanksgiving and honor forever.

3.1.4.3 D8 Discovering Life’s Designer

We have travelled on this road before in D8 –Discovering Life’s Designer, where we were given a living impression of the one true God, the source of our life that is based on the testimonies of many of God’s servants given in a period of over one thousand five hundred years in the past. This journey gives us the physical reality of God’s love in knowing more about the operation of the laws of God.

The law of love is from eternity past, but the Ten Commandments are a codification of the law of love, specifically designed for fallen humans to reveal our sickness of character and lead us to Christ (and that Sabbath didn’t exist until this planet was created.) Angels didn’t need a law about sin passing down through the generations, or to honor mother and father.  (See 1Tim 1:8-11)

It is good to periodically watch the video clip of 6 minutes duration only   “God’s Love Letter” at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WYzr3JavFqM (5:43mins)

The subject of God’s love is bottomless and that is why we have an eternity to learn firsthand from Our King, Lord Jesus Christ living in His Kingdom of Glory. This is our faith in Christ, that by his righteousness to transform us daily that we have  the Hope of Glory at the second coming.
